Get updates of your favorite bands
Don't you wish you could be informed every time your favorite music bands release a new song? With the newTunes widget you can be updated straight from your Dashboard.
The program lets you search and display your favorite artists from iTunes and will order these in a list, which you can refresh any time.
newTunes crawls Amazon to find information on new releases of the artists included in your list. The new songs shown in your list have links to buy or pre-order the song, ban it or even show it as a favorite.
You can also adjust the number of days after which a track is considered too old to be new.
newTunes offers a simple list layout, yet all in all has a slightly unattractive interface.
The dark blue can make it a little difficult to read the names of artists and tracks. We were also surprised to learn that the widget took artist info from your iTunes but would not search the iTunes Store for new songs.
Despite only working with Amazon and a slightly unattractive interface, newTunes is a handy widget to keep updated on new releases from your favorite artists.
